Calvary Presbyterian is excited to embark on an interdenominational partnership with Mosaic Church.  This partnership is not a merger, as each church is maintaining full independence; Calvary continues to be a PCUSA congregation governed by its own ruling elders and under the authority of the Detroit Presbytery.  However, it is a close partnership with both congregations working together to revitalize worship at 2727 Fernwood and spread God's word in our neighborhood. While some of the details of this partnership are still being worked out, we have started holding joint worship services in our building at 9:30 AM on Sundays, with worship and preaching shared between members of our congregation and Mosaic's. This partnership is a part of a broader calling that Calvary has heard to work for Christian unity and reconciliation between different denominations. We hope that you will join us!
